Our Little Man

Apologies for the delay in photos.... we ended up staying in the hospital until Thursday and have been in baby coma ever since!  But today, we are feeling slightly human again and have been able to upload our pictures for all to enjoy!  Preston has been a lot of fun and Grandma and Grandpa have been SO helpful!  Every day we look at him we are in disbelief that we created such a little angel!  Enjoy some pics of Preston's arrival and stay at the hospital.

Towards the end of the 20 hours of labor!

About to go into the OR to welcome our little one!

HE has arrived!!!

After spending what we thought to be our "last weekend without kids" finishing up our to do list, our little one decided to come early and surprise us! I started getting contractions around 4am Sunday morning....after timing them and bearing through Jason and I decided to go get checked out. The hospital took a look, ran a few checks and admitted me to labor and delivery.....I will save the long story for another time, but in short... 20 hours of labor, two hours of pushing later and we ended up having Preston via C-section at 12:33a on Monday, March 19! John Preston Lind was born 7lbs 6ounces and 20.5 inches long!

We will post pictures / video as soon as we can! (having some tech difficulties)...

Thank you to everyone for your love and support!!

9 Days (or Less!)

The singe digit countdown is on!  Unless we go into labor in the next 9 days, we will be hospital bound in the evening of March 21 for an induction!  The best guess would be that baby Lind will arrive sometime on March 22, 2012!  I can't believe that in nine days (or less) our little one will be here and our next chapter together will start!

I want to take this opportunity to emphatically thank my AMAZING husband for being such a good sport and fantastic partner over the last several months!  (Especially the last month and a half)  Whether it was a foot rub for my swollen feet, listening to a gripe fest about the excess weight  or keeping my mind straight when I have pregnancy brain (which does exist).... Jason has endured and done it with a smile!  I can't say enough how lucky I am to have him and I am SO thrilled he will be my partner as we go down this road together!  He is a wonderful husband and he is going to make a GREAT GREAT daddy!  Thank you Jas for everything and more!

Now, buckle your seat belt..... this is going to be quite a ride!
