Hide 'N Seek

The boys have discovered hide and seek!  So Saturday morning, daddy celebrated being home by playing hide n seek for hours (it felt like hours anyway)!  Excuse the train mess!....

Vegas!

This trip to Las Vegas was kind of a "last minute" one for us, meaning, a months notice essentially.  Jason's BFF Mike is turning 40 and his wife wanted to take him on a surprise trip.  So she surprised Mike with a trip and then we walked on the plane and surprised him that we too, were on our way to Vegas!
Perfect first stop, breakfast and a bloody mary!
After laying in the sun, Nicole and I wandered through the shops at the Venetian, specifically into a hat store....
Dinner night one, this was in the mens room!  Hilarious.  The ladies stall said something like "Please stay seated for the duration of your visit".
Rock in Rio concert.... John Legend is about all we made it through!
Day two, poolside at Caesars!  (They have poolside Black Jack for the boys)
My best Golden Girls impression, gorgeous and sunny and I have a floppy hat and cardigan on trying to avoid the sun!  (Not to mention my baby SPF 100 lotion)
Night two, last night, on our way to dinner at Gordon Ramsey's' "Steak, YUM!

Rainy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day!  I hope every mother out there had as nice and as relaxing a day as I did!  Jason spoiled me to bits by doing EVERYTHING!  Every diaper, every piece of laundry, every tantrum, every fight with the boys over a train..... ALL handled by my hubby!  Which was a challenge considering we were getting hammered with rain, so an outside escape was not possible!  I truly couldn't have asked for a better family day!  Thank you to my boys for making me feel appreciated and loved!
Breakfast made!
Mimosa for me!
Movie time

Cousin Time!

Got to spend a wonderful weekend with my cousins Megan and Erin!  Erin flew in from LA and Megan from SC!
Throwback!
Upon arrival!
So we used to watch the Disney movie Newsies like it was a religion, so when the turned it into a musical and it added Dallas to it's tour.... the cousin weekend became real!  Meg and I were all over it, Erin was putting up with it! HA!  SO much fun!  The play was OK.... but it doesn't hold a candle to our Christian Bale classic!
Following the show, we had cocktails up high in Reunion Tower!
I ordered this and officially realized.... I don't like whiskey drinks!
After the tower, we went for Tapas at Victor Tangos on Knox Henderson!  Food was OUTSTANDING!
And so ended a wonderful and fun weekend! Thanks to the girls for flying in!  We have to do this more often!
