For the last several years, as a tradition on the morning of the tree lighting in Southlake, we button up and head to Grapevine for a fun train ride. This year, since we will be heading to St. Louis for Thanksgiving, my folks didn't come this way which meant.... train ride with the Strawn's! We had a great time (Jason stayed home in bed) and we took on the railway with this crazy crew! Love these people more than I can say!

Some people know, some people don't and for those who don't and read this blog, my apologies. Tuesday morning Jason was admitted to the hospital as they thought he was having a heart attack! It was the scariest morning of my life and one in which I can't fully put into words. Jason had been complaining about shortness of breath and chest pains and decided to go to the ER (basically to put me at ease). After waiting, his troponin levels went high and were told her was having a heart attack and would ne transferred by ambulance to another hospital. A blurring time later, we were at a bigger hospital waiting to go to the Cardiac Cath lab. His troponin went up even higher and the cardiologist said likely a stint or heart surgery would happen. Fast forward and the Doc came to tell us he was ok, no heart attack... rather a viral infection called Myocarditis which mimics everything of a heart attack. It was wonderful news and I was able to exhale for the first time in hours. Jason stayed overnight and was monitored then cleared to go home with orders to take it easy.
Jason is my rock, my best friend, my greatest love. Seeing him sitting in the hospital, thinking the worst is something I can't put into words..... I have promised myself I will try harder to make sure he knows how much I love him and cherish him. He is the best person I know and I don't ever want to repeat a day like Tuesday! I love him with my everything and I am so thankful that he is ok!
So, if you didn't know, my apologies... the week was a blurr..... if you did know and reached out... thank you! We are lucky to be surrounded by wonderful people who care about us!

We had a great weekend cheering on Air Force as they took on Army. Joe flew in for it and we ventured to Mr. Scott Kirby's house again in Dallas. AMAZING house! He and his wife were so sweet to open and host this event for the 2nd time! Great game (we won), great company, great weekend!
Yep, the Kirby's new playset in the back for their 2 year old..... has seven water cannons....
